Pretendo Cards: Save Christmas (“the App”) is developed and published by Pretendo Cards Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and how it is protected.

1. Information We Do Not Collect Inside the App

The App does not collect, store, or request any personal information from users.

3. Personalization Data Created Outside the App (Adults Only)

Some users may purchase or receive a Pretendo Card through our website. During this process, a parent or gift giver may enter personalization information such as:

  • The child’s first name

  • A custom message

  • Other optional story-related details

Important notes:

  • This information is entered outside the App.

  • It is stored securely on our servers.

  • It is linked to a unique login code included with the Pretendo Card.

  • The App does not ask users to enter this personal information.

  • Children cannot enter personal information inside the App.

This data is used only to generate the personalized version of the story for the intended recipient of the Pretendo Card.

4. How Personalization Data Is Accessed in the App

If a user enters their unique login code (included with a Pretendo Card), the App securely retrieves the personalization data associated with that code from our servers.

This allows the App to display:

  • The personalized storyline

  • The child’s name integrated into the adventure

  • The custom message provided by the gift giver

Retrieval is read-only and used solely for personalization.
The App does not upload or transmit any new personal information.

Users who do not enter a login code can play the non-personalized version of the game.

5. How Information Is Used

Any personalization information retrieved by the App is used only to:

  • Load the custom story elements created by a parent or gift giver

  • Display the personalized content inside the App

  • Enable the intended customized experience

We do not:

  • Sell data

  • Share data with third parties

  • Use data for analytics

  • Use data for marketing

  • Use data for tracking or profiling

Personalization data is used strictly for the purpose of delivering the experience the purchaser created.

6. Children’s Privacy

Although Pretendo Cards: Save Christmas is family-friendly and may be enjoyed by children, it is published under the Entertainment category and is intended for a general audience.

To protect children:

  • No personal information is collected within the App

  • No accounts or logins are created inside the App

  • No advertising or analytics tools are used

  • Personalization is handled entirely by adults outside the App

  • Login codes do not reveal personal information on their own

Personalization data created during Pretendo Card purchases is stored securely on our servers.
This data is accessed only through the unique code provided with the Pretendo Card.

The App stores character preferences and gameplay progress locally on the device.

Deleting the App removes all locally stored data.
